Amala paul is an Indian film actress born in Kerala on 26 October, 1991. She joined St. Teresa's college to join a Bachelor of Administration degree in English. But she likes to pursue Engineering after one year after she finished her plus two education.

On the mean while her modeling collection was noted by Malayalam director Lal Jose who made her to appear in Malayalam films. She started her career by acting as a supporting actress in a Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009. But the film was not succeeded in box office so she started her career as an actress in Tamil film industry. Personal life of Amala paul

Amala paul was born on 26 October, 1991 in Ernakulam, Kerala. She belongs to the family of Malayali Syrian Christian. Her father name is Paul Varghese and her mother name is Annice Paul. She has an elder brother name, Abijith. Amala paul’s father had been strictly against her appearance in films because of her education but she forced him to accept her desire with the help of his brother Abijith. She joined in St. Teresa’s college to pursue her Bachelor degree in English after she finished her plus two education.

Career life of Amala paul
Amala, as a model she had worked in many modeling shows so that she got a chance to act in films. She started her career in acting by doing a supporting role in a Malayalam film Neelathamara in 2009 which was a failure. She then acted in Sindhu Samaveli in 2010, a Samy’s film which was a failure. She made her debut in Tamil film Vikadakavi but it was her sixth release and she also signed to play a lead role in Veerasekaran in 2010 but both the films are failure. Later Sindhu samaveli, Amala paul’s next film was romantic film Mynaa in 2010 directed by Prabhu Solomon which was a box office hit. She played a role of village girl Mynaa, which was her outstanding performance. She received credits from actor Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth for her performance in Mynaa. She was awarded Vijay Award for Best Debut Actress and also nominated for Best Actress at Film fare Awards and Vijay Awards for the film Mynaa.

In 2011, she was became very famous and signed for many new projects. She then acted in a Malayalam movie Ithu Nammude Katha which was a remake of the super hit Tamil film Naadodigal which is also succeeded in Malayalam film industry. She then signed for Deiva Thirumagal directed by Vijay opposite with Vikram and Anushka in which she had played a role of school correspondent. She played a short role but it made the film a great success. After this film she says Anushka as her role model. Her next film was
Bejawada directed by Ram Gopal Varma in Telugu opposite with Naga Chaitanya but it was a failure.

The next release of Amala Paul was Tamil romantic action film Vettai directed by Lingusamy alongside with Arya, Madhavan and Sameera Reddy. She received positive feedback for her performance in that film. Her next film opposite with Siddharth was Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi directed by Balaji Mohan which was released on the last week of February 2012 which became commercial success. Amala then signed to play in a romantic thriller Tamil movie Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal opposite with Adharvaa was also released along with Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi which received positive feedback. Amala then signed to play an art-house film Aakashathinte Niram directed by Dr. Biju which was her first art-house film. The film was displayed at the Golden Goblet Award in the 15th Shanghai International Film Festival. She then signed to play a role with Malayalam actor Mohanlal in the film Run Babby Run which was a commercial success and she had won Best actress award by Asia vision movie

In 2013 her next release was a Telugu film V. V. Vinayak's film Naayakopposite with Ram Charan Teja and Kajal Agarwal. This block buster movie had won box office collection for the year 2013. Her next film was romantic comedy film Iddarammayilatho directed by  Puri Jagannadh opposite with Allu Arjun, as Komali Sankarabharanam  by which she received positive comments. She then has acted in Tamil film to work with Vijay in Thalaivaa directed by A.L. Vijay which is a political thriller film.
