Hansika was born on 9 Aug 1991 to a business man. Her mother a film industry person. so She got film opportunity. Hansika first movie was signed for 'Yahoo' with Govinda. By bad luck, this movie was dropped. But she dint sat down for the first attempt. Then she acted in five Hindi movies and several language movies like Telugu and Tamil. Her first film was a Telugu movie named Desamuduru (2007), and also winning the Film fare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She also involved in physical fitness and diet with Mickey Mehta

The Southern angel has recently put  her hands to help breast cancer patients. At present she is giving hands to 22 kids.
