Vimal is an Indian actor born on 12 December, 1982 in pannankombu which is a village in Manapparai. His father name is Narasimhan and his mother name is Ramani. He discontinued his higher studies and he later joined Koothu Pattarai, a theater in Chennai. His spouse name is Akshaya who is a medical college student. Akshaya and Vimal are childhood friends later they fall in love but Akshaya’s parents opposed their love so the pair decided to run off. Vimal is blessed with a son.

Vimal started his career in acting by while being a part of Koothu pattarai, a theater in Chennai. He had done cameo appearance in film such as Ghilli in 2004, Kireedom in 2007 and Kuruvi in 2008.
